Frequently asked questions

Please find below a few questions that are regularly asked regarding fees, payment etc.

How do I pay?
At the beginning of each month, you will receive an invoice which clearly say’s how much you need to pay for the upcoming month. On your invoice it will clearly say the timeframe this invoice is paying, how many hours your child is attending within this time frame, how many funded hours you will receive in this time frame and how much your meals cost if you decided to purchase these. You can pay by Direct debit, BACS, Cash or Standing order.

Who do I give the money to? All staff members are happy to take payment and will write you a receipt straight away as you proof of payment.

Do I need to pay for additional activities and consumables?
No. We do not charge parents for additional consumables. We only charge for meals that the nursery provide, this is charged at a reasonable cost of £4.00 for lunches and £1.00 for snack/tea. For funding spaces this service is optional. The nursery will occasionally do charity events, which you are welcome to make donations to.

Does the nursery offer sibling discount?
Yes you get 20% of the oldest sibling

If my child is ill or we go on holiday, do I still need to pay for the space?
To maintain your child’s nursery placement, we do require fees to be paid even if you are on holiday or if your child is unwell. Please speak to a member of the management team should you have any questions relating to this matter.

When are you open?
The nursery is open Monday – Friday from 8.00am – 6:00pm for 51 weeks a year. All curriculum activities and meals are included in the fees. The nursery closes for two staff training days each year, parents are given two months notice of this date.
